What I usually do is to write back on my trading journal the values anticipated. Are they currently USD bullish or bearish? How has the pair been trading?Originally Posted by ;

On a 5 minute chart I check MACD, for momentum and exchange according to the 5 min.
Usually there is a lot of volatility around the time the results come out. Guys closing their rankings to get ahead of NFP.
Stay still (well I remain still), check the graphics on the 5 min and the moment the results come, you know what to do: buy or sell. It is very fast and it gives you some fantastic pips in a few minutes.
After that I usually just sit back, watch the market return to normal and plan my next moves.
Good thing I put a halt to my meserable entry signal.
My trendline was touching the other candlesticks and I was trading at nighttime.
GBP/USD seemst to be moving to the moon.
I await tomorrow
