It means to trade USD JPY (not USD JPY) versus most of the others, either buy them (risk off) or even offer them together vs the rest of the currencies (risk on). There are days you can use it too. Re your pm seeing oil and gold, the cfd is different for every broker, some brokers only accept 1 lot to oil (wti) or 0.5 (brent) as minimal, others allow you to trade 0.01 and have distinct profit/point calculation. Additional their naming is different in several brokers, Gold, XAUUSD, .Gold etc.. Thus it is difficult to include them. Along with their correlations vs USD CAD aren't 100% so I can not consider them as a basket transaction per se.
