Thread: ZigZag-based Fibo

    Hi,

I don't have a drop of programming within my own blood, so I'm asking for your help.

Can someone app a Fibonacci Retracement that automatically follows the ZigZag indior included with MT4 (from the habit indiors)?

To illue, please look at the attached screenshots. I like to exchange retracements from the ZigZag's tops or bottoms (top is revealed here). When I place a Fibo on the ZigZag, like from the first screen, I wait for a retracement to at least the 23.6 area.

My problem is, as exhibited in the next screen, which if price shoots past the top (bottom), the Fibo stays with the old value.

I'd like it to automatically adjust to the new top (bottom) of the ZigZag, which I manually created from the next screen.

Ideally, to go one step farther, in case the ZigZag reverses I'd like for the older Fibo to be deleted and a new one created from the new leadership (no screenshot for this).

Is anybody interested and able in helping with this?

    Much appreciated!

    jesper

    Sure.

That is what they invented computers and made programming languages for!
    Did this many times.
    Please PM me.

No issue as well as soon as you define what 'ZigZag reverses' mean exactly.

Hello, and many thanks to the quick reply!

From ZigZag reverse I just indie an upslope comes to a finish and a downslope begins, and vice versa. I normally use the standard ZigZag (12,5,3) configurations.

I marked five of those turning points on the attached screenshots. What I am looking for is that rather than staying with the older ZigZag lineup on the very first screen, it would be nice for your Fibo to move over to the new ZigZag lineup on the screen.

PM'ed you along with my regular email address.

    Thank you again!
