Thread: Mister EDs 4 hour Heikin i system

Hi Mister ED ! Thanks for your system, it looks promising ! How is it doing ? Is this yout primary egy? Thanks for your response !

Is anyone using the EA? And if so hows it doing? I simply threw 1.6.2 on a practice account to let it run for a few months while I complete reading over the thread and figure out what all the choices are.

You get a feeling systems work when they draw this much attention. Thanks Mr Ed and Longbar and other people who helped!

As far as optimisation it relies on forward analyzing results over the last 9 months. These vary for each pair and therefore are relative only to the correct candle times and thus it's not worth noting them all here. Just need to share..if we insert the T@H (THV4 Coral indior),it may help to filter false sign. It mean that buy when HA over Coral Sell if HA below Coral . .Of course it may make missing substantial pips from reversal breakout at the very top or bottom,but I think it's much safer.For precise Entry Point or SL is left up to each one style (heading to lower TF , await retracement,etc).At least that this pic will help us decide in which trend we are currently ( Uptrend,Downtrend or ranging). . Ive had the EA running 11 pairs, on 4hr TF for just a little under two weeks and it's not made 1 trade. Can I do something wrong? I really do have 'Permit trading' assessed in the EA alternatives and have it turned in MT4 using the smiley faces showing on all charts. IDK, IDK


EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I had 'Heiken_i_Smoothed_Alert' from the indiors folder along with the EA calls 'Heiken_i_Smoothed' because of its trading decision.
1st trade us/cad -35 pips lol. I need to get it set up on the right pairs and days.

I'm viewing the charts daily and typically possess a couple of pairs to exchange daily.

I concur! I used to trade it. My problem checked every 4 hours. I need 7-8 hours. How do you get around that?

So because Sept 7th when I got it working, its left 580ish pips, if anybody is interested. I did all of the times just like Mr Ed indied, but I included Usd/Chf in place of Usd/Gold (because congress fudged that up) so far have not filtered any days on it.

First of all, thank you for this system since it's one of the greatest methods I have ever met in terms of success. But may I put in my thoughts of this system.
Personally I believe how you trade this is adequate, but not reaching its potential. In my opinion you're cutting your winners together with those ATR. .
So, if you're interested, let me show you how I DO TRADE this one (and is gaining huge profit, more than you can imagine)

I use 1 hr rather than 4hr TF, BUT ACT ONLY, if 1hr heiken changes color, but only as long as its exactly the same as 4hr heiken candle ! The setup includes much less succes rate if I take a sign which goes against the main trend (4hr). SL set to ATR is great, but I don't give it a TP. I take profit, when 4hr heiken changes colour.However I set the SL into breakeven when I've the feeling, but actually this isn't needed. And then I begin to perform the other way round... Choose pairs, which are trending. And it needs a lot of time, but I am convinced it's still working together with 4hr-daily combination.
