OK this is going to be my journal, to be honest I don't feel I need to keep a public journal of some of my transactions but the thread I have learnt so much from on here has prompted me to achieve this.
First I want to thank a member on here called FTI for his very generous time, thread and patience Technical Analysis Fallacy which is the thread I have learnt so much from, I am in no way connected/exchange pms or possess some special connections with FTI, I am only friends with him on FF, so let's be clear that I don't have any specific training out of him other than that which is in his thread, I know FTI likes this to be clear about these things so out of the fantastic respect I have for him I am clearly stating I trade out of what I think I have learnt from his thread just.
First I should explain how I trade, I don't trade or look at the charts the way the mainstream edues so do not expect predictions or crystal ball type analyses from this thread, I attempt to utilize mainly the most recent price movements in a bid to help me loe opportunities to FOLLOW/FLOW with the market management, from my many hours watching and practising (in M5 time frames mainly), I have discovered that the market goes in price ranges that these come in many shapes and forms, but it's basically a pump then a rest type of set up that happens, I am sorry that I cannot describe it any better than that, but if you look at my charts I will be submitting you will see it because I attempt to explain why I have chosen to accept each trade I post.
So now for my principles.
1. Safeguard my book.
2. Safeguard my book.
3. Remember 2 and principles 1.
Now my trading plan.
1. Buy whether the market is moving up and there are indiions of buyers.
2. Sell if the market is moving down and there are indiions of vendor.
3. Don't trade if there are no obvious buyers or sellers to follow along.
4. If my mindset gets upset, do not trade.
5. Adapt, adjust, overcome and do not gamble.
Trading times.
I trade from about an hour and half before London to approximately dinner time New York that is my perfect daylight trading time, I often carry some transactions through my night, my transactions can last from minutes to hours days depends on the situation presented to me personally at any given time.
Money Management and Modus Operandi.
I use everything I learnt out of FTIs thread, if interested most of it's within the first 200 pages, here is the link. Https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/cryp...on-ms-mt4.html it's all there so I don't feel there's a need for me to describe this component in detail.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to post here, all I ask is please do not be rude, abusive or insulting to others, we are all at various points in our learning curve and every understand and see things differently so please be useful not obstructive to others we share this world with.
Some transactions will be live, a few will be submitted during or after, I don't want this to be signal service for others to replie trades, if you do replie any transactions shown here you do this at your own risk, I have nothing to prove to anybody and I do not wish to listen to moaning about transactions that haven't gone well for anybody because they copied a live commerce posted here, so bear in mind that it is those who are responsible for your own destiny, sometimes I take trades that go against me, it happens it's called trading.
Right, lets get right in at the deep end, looking at the daily charts there are many possible opportunities out there now, I have scouts in a few of these but I have picked you to show you to kick things off, lets see where that takes me????
This gbp/cad chart seems to have great strong direction and I think I see buyers! Question is that they continue to drive it higher??? Time will tell, I have entered my scout to check and keep me attentive to developments patience is essential while I await to see the if the buyers go back. Recall I follow I really do (try) to not forecast.
I start daily by searching for opportunities in the daily charts, I then slide down to the hourly charts to search for entries for my own skews I used to trade considerably lower time frames but things have shifted on the market and with myself, so I use mainly these time frames though I will sometimes look at the M15 and W1 charts.
