I am starting this thread since I do not think there is enough discussion about how market structure can help you read the markets. A lot of threads discuss trading naked or indior free - however some people (myself included) want some visual cues to help in reading price action.

I understand various people have different definitions of what market structure is, except for the sake of the thread we are going to say market structure consists of Higher Highs (HH), Higher Lows (HL), Lower Lows (LL) and Lower Highs (LH). Now these are not really indiors but instead patterns - therefore if you're a purist, you can use market structure and trade indior free.

Looking at a chart it is possible to read how powerful an up trend is by viewing a series of HH's and HL's - emptiness of LL's LH's. Reverse to get a downtrend.

The above chart shows two transactions that I took today. In the next few articles I will describe how to observe the set-up and jump in to get some minimal risk high probability trades.
